Minutes of September 12, 2006

Minutes should be amended to indicate that watering had been cut back to 25% and the stucco repairs will not be done this year, but deferred until spring.

 

TreasurerÕs Report

Irrigation has been deleted from the Concierge contract and has been awarded to CarlÕs Sprinkler Service which will save us about $640. The new contract with CarlÕs Sprinkler Service includes fall winterizing and spring start-up.

 

Actual expenses are slightly over, due to higher insurance costs and the expense of painting our residences, but we do have sufficient cash and savings on hand.

 

PresidentÕs Report

  1. Irrigation blowout could begin this week.
  2. Orv Bratland had a meeting with Steve Kissell of Best Outdoor Services to solicite an estimate for Lawn and Snow Service and will be included in the proposed amount of contract in compiling the 2007 budget.
  3. Painting is completed with HarveyÕs new door freshly painted.
  4. Fall irrigation service has been cancelled with Concierge.
  5. Orv did not purchase a new irrigation controller, it will be done in the Spring.
  6. Stucco repairs have been deferred until Spring and a new survey of needed repairs will be conducted.
  7. Board is still gathering competitive information concerning dues paid at other townhome communities. No progress this month.
  8. Long Range planning continues with a target completion for November meeting.

 

Annual Meeting

We worked on 2007 budget, which will be finalized at our next meeting and will be presented at the Annual Meeting on November 30, 2006 at the TPC

 

The meeting was adjourned at 8;15 p.m. Our next meeting will be held at OrvÕs home on November 21, 2006 at 3:00 p.m.
